THE QUESTION

Do you provide educational grants?
My boss (who is 40 years old and just had a brand new learning facility built from the ground up) has opened a Learning Center for the inland empire communities. We have intercession programs as well as after school tutoring. We also have adult education. We have also opened our doors to the unified schoold district who have had a series of their superintendant mtgs at our facility to upgrade their programs at their local schools. We are looking for grants from companies, schools, foundations, etc. to further our programs to help bring children to a level of good education and to become good citizens in their communities. Our website is www.acquire3.net if you need further information about our company and learning center. We're just trying to find what we can to help us grow and get the materials and teachers/tutors we need to further our goals in helping the children and the adult community.

DCC says:
There are actually lots of different educational grants out there provided by the government and private organizations. From my understanding the difficulty is not necessarily in finding a grant, but in the actual obtaining of the grant. This process involves meeting the requirements of the grant, writing a grant proposal (and other necessary paperwork), and meeting all of the deadlines.

Here is a site that lists a bunch of different grants:
