OLD SCHOOL CLASSIC SOUL EXPLOSION
Life’s Pathway is a nonprofit for public benefit specifically to promote, encourage, support and enhance literacy. Life’s Pathway will help to benefit the public through an interactive community involved book store using author’s book tours and discussion groups, book clubs, youth groups, open mic, drama, music and other artistic resources.
On Saturday, November 17, 2007, Life’s Pathway will present an Old School Classic Soul Explosion with Cuba Gooding Sr. and the Main Ingredient, The Manhattans and the Legendary Intruders. This event will take place at the PLEX in North Charleston, South Carolina. In addition to classic soul, an opportunity for new school hip hop and rhythm & blues will be encouraged with an Apollo Showtime copycat talent show. With these two worlds collaborating young and old talent will come together entertaining while supporting literary advancement.
