How can we join your effort to install our self-esteem program to help build our young people's character(s) in the Hood, because we already started since the mid 1990s? Our self-esteem program has been performed in Honolulu for the past 14 years, inserted in the Hood in NYC, Mount Vernon, NY, and Nova Scotia, Canada, in the way of an African Cultural Pageant (there are no bathing suits involved). To-date we have graduated over 150 candidates from this program and thus have turned into worderful role models. We hear from these young people quite often about their accomplishments.
Its nothing worst than a young person not having a healthy self-esteem--we build that.

Well, first stop refering your NEIGHBORHOOD as the Hood. Take your children to a Broadway show. Spend the $85 on that instead of what you have been spend that money on for the better of your children. Set a GOOD example, really! Watch how you conduct yourself in front of your kids, or any other kids. And my last thing is how is your SELF-ESTEEM?
