Did you know that Bill Cosby received his Doctorate in Education from the University of Massachusetts in 1976? Yes! He was a role model for me then and now. He received it at the Amhearst Campus. His thesis was the Saturday morning kids show "Fat Albert and the Rotonda Kids" as a educational media. He lived in Greenfield, Massachusetts at the time. Did you also know that during this period, he was offered the CBS Television Series "The Cosby Show" and only accepted the deal if the Dean of the University would give him a Leave of Absents from his studies. Don't tell me he did not see the value of an Education....Rat-On Bill !!!! Something a lot of people should see.....especially the younger of us today. Money is'nt everything. "Spend your time getting good, money will follow" as Flip Wilson once said.
Sectionate says:
I apologize, it was the CBS Television Special on Monday Nights in the 9:00 pm slot in the 70's. Six shows of Cosby, six of Richard Pryor, six of Flip Wilson....etc.
