Eat in moderation...choose natural foods that can remember where they came from (an apple can remember being on the tree, an apple pie from hostess not so much!). Drink water, at least 8 glasses a day. Walk often, any time you can walk or bike and not drive is a plus!
You dont have to join a gym or shop at a fancy health food store. Walk, breathe, drink water, eat REAL foods (shop at your local farmers market!!) and get 8-10 hours of sleep each night....and then top it off with a good dose of community service. Do something for someone else...its a great way to start feeling AMAZING!

Enter your answer here. The easiest way to do it is by saying to yourself I want to lose weight and be healthy. You have to get into the mindset that you want change. I will tell you it will take time as with anything. My "aha" moment was when I was in the doctors office and saw that I was 5lbs from being considered obesed. You may think wow that is a lot of weight, well actually it is not. See I am 5"9" so my weight looks deceiving. When I was younger my lowest weight was 116. I never want to get back to that size, I am not a kid I am a woman, but I do know that loosing 30-50 will have a trememdous impact on my health. It is about being healthy, not beign skinny. I bought a step counter and have set my goal to reach the 10k steps that is recommended. I work out to reach this goal as well. I also let my son know my goals and let him know when I have reached them. he is mybiggest supporter. My son goes to the Y atleast 5x a week, his father pays for his memebership so I am so blessed with that. Just a little side suggestion"People if you are trying to have a parent pay child support, why not have them pay for a memebership at a gym for the child" Ok so it is a family effort, once it starts that way it will be so much easier, also since it spring time, plant a garden even if you live in an apartment. The home stores can show you how......Good Luck
