If you do not have a degree already then I suggest that you go to school and get an advanced degree. If you can get hired by the business in a starting position maybe they have an education program that you can use to get your advanced degree. Let human resources know what it is that you are trying to acomplish, let your manager know what you are trying to accomplish. If no one is willing to guide you I suggest that you still seek your goal by keeping your job and still going to school, graduate and move on to a better paying job.
