How do we get not only youth but some of the older people to see we are self destructing our communities
Older Blacks as well as the youth need to see the damage that is being done through out our communities. We have allowed this to take place I think because everyone is doing they're own thing. I am a middle class, no college. Have had several different jobs and have been in trouble before. But I got it together and moved on. I had a support system and goals. I am a success to me. No matter how other folk see me I am going to continue on. I am a regular person doing regular things. Raising my children in 2 parent home. I have not read your book yet, but I will get around to it. Keep doing what you are doing and feel free to ask for my help.
