THE QUESTION

Are there such things as career mentors? Where can I send my kids to get career direction?
I have two daughters. Both of them are in college right now. My two daughters are interested in a career in law. And I'm looking for a career mentor that they can contact for information, for suggestions as to which direction they should go to best pursue their career.

First of all, congratulations for all of your sacrifices to get both of them into college. I work with college students daily. And I do career advising and career exploration. I recommend that your daughters contact their respective school career guidance centers. Most colleges have career guidance centers that can point you and your daughters in the right direction to getting in contact with people in the law field.

There sure are career advisors for your kids--there called youth coaches. At my company we give private coaching for youth ages 16-24.

Our service helps youth not only graduate college but it goes a step further and gives them coaching that equips them with the same ingredients to success that the most successful people in our society use.

This form of coaching for youth is called success coaching. Why leave your childs success to chance . . . Call and make an appointment for further information.

Best,

Coach Amleset Kidane
